Shipping Options

The available shipping options to deliver your Metro Uniform orders are:

USPS Priority (residential delivery)
UPS Ground
FREE In-Store Pick Up

Given the sensitive nature of our products, we prefer to ship to a location where someone will be able to physically receive the package or to a lock box.

All shipping to P.O. Boxes, is via USPS. Shipping to Military APO/FPO locations (Deployed US Military) are via USPS – rates may vary, contact info@metro-uniform.com for further information.

UPS Ground

For this shipping method, the rates we charge for shipping your order are automatically computed by UPS using the weight of your package and delivery zone. You are charged the UPS rate only and we do not add any other charges other than a $4 handling fee (please see below for details).

For either of these shipping methods your shipping charges will be automatically computed and displayed in the shopping cart. You will have the opportunity to cancel your order if you decide not to accept the cost of shipping at checkout.

*NOTE – When placing an order that requires a signature on delivery (ie products that include Departmental Insignia) if you’re not in/available at time of delivery USPS will leave a card to arrange collection from a local post office.

FREE In-Store Pick Up Option

In-store pick up is available from Fresno. Please call us on (559) 264-7770 if you want to collect your order in-store. Please see store location and opening times.

International Shipping is available on request – for a flat fee of $50, email info@metro-uniform.com for further information. Please note that we cannot be responsible for duties payable on international shipments.

Shipping Fees Payment

Your shipping fee will be calculated and added to your order at check out. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards for online orders. Our secure checkout cart uses a 128bit SSL Secure Connection to transmit your credit card data and your browser displays a lock or key icon to show this is an active secure link. This data is then encrypted onto our secure payment gateway. We handle credit card transactions securely and do not store credit card data on our servers.

Handling Fees

Metro Uniform includes a fixed rate of $4 handling fee on all orders. This additional charge covers packaging materials and other services such as facilitating ID approval, arranging package collections and delivery confirmations, etc.

Dispatch From Our Locations & Expected Delivery Times

Orders received Monday-Friday by 3pm PDT Monday-Friday of in-stock, non-personalized items are normally dispatched from our locations within 2 days.

All orders are shipped from our location in the Central Valley, CA (Zip 93701). If items are not in-stock you will receive an email with an estimated delivery date. UPS Ground is our customers most frequently selected shipping method to standard US locations, however for expedited shipping we offer USPS Priority Mail.

Delivery Times by Service Provider

USPS Priority Mail – Delivery times to standard US locations are 1-3 business days.

UPS Ground – Delivery times to standard US locations vary by region and take 3-6 business days.

All shipping times are counted in business days only, Saturday/Sunday and holidays are not counted as business days and online orders received on these days will be processed on the next business day.

Delivery Times – Exceptions

Occasionally delivery times may need to be extended due to the following exceptions, if so you will be contacted by email to advise of revised delivery dates.

PERSONALIZATION
Please expect an extended delivery date if your items require personalization (i.e. patches, name tapes, embroidery, etc.).

PROOF OF OCCUPATION
Because of the unique protective aspect of Law Enforcement and Public Safety some items will require proof of occupation to process your order. A current departmental I.D. or letter of acceptance will be required to process any order with departmental insignia. If I.D. is required for your order, we ask that you supply it to us promptly to avoid any delay in shipping delivery times for your order.

BACK ORDERS
If an item goes on manufacturer back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock and charge for shipping. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping for the second shipment.

Order Tracking

When your order is shipped the shipping carrier will provide a tracking number. We will update your online order in your account with the tracking number. UPS online tracking tool can then be used: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/OnlineTool

Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS Mail will not have tracking numbers.

Delivery Confirmation

For orders that include Departmental Insignia a signature is required on delivery.

Metro Uniform cannot take responsibility for an item that we ship and is confirmed delivered to the provided address but the purchaser says they never received it. Metro Uniform has responsibility only to confirm delivery to the provided address.

Returns Shipping

Shipping costs for returns are not refundable, unless the return is related to our error.
